Globalization has different effects on human life, which are more noticeable in rural areas than in cities. Thus, the present article aims to study the effects of globalization on lifestyle in rural areas. The methodology in this research is descriptive-analytical; and to collect data in the theoretical section of the study the library method has been used and in the field study questionnaires have been employed. In the present study, the residents of Roshanabad in Gorgan, composed of 24 villages, are included; using Cochran sampling method, 265 families were selected as sample. The results of the study show that the effects of globalization can be detected in all aspects and indexes of lifestyle, and according to participants in the study, some changes are occurring in lifestyle in the rural society. The regression testing indicated a Beta coefficient of 0.328 for most changes happening in lifestyle as a result of globalization. It can be said that since Iranian villages are experiencing a transition from tradition to modernity or even postmodernity, different aspects of lifestyle are somehow mingled; young people in rural areas show a tendency toward urban lifestyle while older people prefer local rural lifestyle.

Human’s house is a place reflects a sign of individual/ universal self. This claim is true in every society, and so it is in Iran. By speaking about the relation between Iranian life style and physical form of house, undoubtedly we consider various elements and constituents required interdisciplinary investigation. This affinity between life style and architecture has close relation with cotemporary Iranian identity and thereby discussion of formation of a special type of “individuality” followed by modern transformations. In case of claiming that everyday life is not just a fixed domain of affairs based on habit, it is possible to study Iranian’s way of dwelling and their formation to the housing during time. This formation may create issue that within struggle of action and reaction repeatedly impact. This article by using concepts such as: Iranian individuality and everyday life at complicated society of Iran makes clear characteristics of lifestyle in Iran and housing form and studies relationship between them within a descriptiveanalytical method. In this article we consider how when a person faces with events, in Iranian society in broadness of time, in the process of determining Iranian individuality in everyday life, his conscious or unconscious choices form his principles and significant habits and finally his lifestyle and this specific lifestyle demands its specific housing form.

Lifestyle is a phenomenon which provides beliefs, values,knowledge and interpersonal competencies in social-personal situations. Lifestyle makes the real part of human civilization; however it does not occur as a simple and linear. Crystallization of the inner human, means lifestyle, is seriously affected by the action’s position; time and location based on personal perception, which together form the context of the action. While religion makes the main basis of a religious person’s lifestyle, but the institutional actor is affected by the current realities of organization’s life and acts in terms of laws and requirements which resulted in different lifestyles. In confrontation between religious beliefs and institutional realities, three situations may consider including full conformity, partial conformity and non-conformity. In each of these forms a particular lifestyle based on the university condition may emerge, which is known as academic educators’ lifestyle. The importance of these forms is due to the effect of them on educational effectiveness of academic activities. The educator is not only a person with a personal lifestyle, but also is a “lifestyle learner” which it acts with a latent and indirect manner. If the implementation of “Modern Islamic Civilization” is important, and the “real part” of it, is made by people’s life context and visibly and invisibly is affected by educators’ manners in each society, therefore the explanation of academic educators’ practice is important since they are the main reference of lifestyle model for young.
