In addition, Iran is facing a decline in surface water and groundwater. But, it seems the water problem is not well understood in society. Furthermore, there is no consensus in perception of this problem. The media can play an important role in this regard. In recent years, as the problem became more serious and its consequences more apparent, media attention to this issue has increased. But, how the media portrays this issue is unclear. So, this study aims to identify the representation of Iran’s water issue in mainstream newspapers. To achieve this goal, quantitative content analysis has been applied and contents of four mainstream newspapers have been reviewed over a period of seven years. Based on the findings, natural factors are the most prominent cause of water problems and the authorities’ views are more and the people’s views are less distinguished in these newspapers. In other words, the content of newspapers is consistent with the government’s views. "Crisis", "Water scarcity" and "drought" are the most highlighted vocabularies in headlines. These words hide the role of people and officials in creating the problem and represents water problem as a natural problem. Furthermore, water is highlighted as a problem that must be addressed by the government and the role of people is reduced to saving. Whereas, a good governance requires involvement of civil society in decision making.}, keywords = {Iran’s water Issue,representation,Indexing,Water Demand Management}, title_fa = {بازنمایی مسئلۀ آب ایران در روزنامه‌ها؛ تحلیل محتوای روزنامه‌های ایران، شرق، دنیای اقتصاد، و کیهان از سال 1391 تا 1397}, abstract_fa = {در حال حاضر، برداشت آب در ایران بیش از ظرفیت منابع تجدید‎پذیر است. افزون‌بر‌این، شاهد کاهش آب‎های سطحی و زیرزمینی هستیم، اما به‌نظر می‌رسد مسئلۀ آب، چنان‌که باید، در جامعه درک نشده است و فهم مشترکی از آن وجود ندارد. رسانه، نهادی است که می‎تواند در این زمینه نقش مهمی ایفا کند. در چند سال گذشته، با جدی‎تر شدن مسئلۀ آب و آشکارتر شدن پیامدهای آن، توجه رسانه‎ها به این موضوع افزایش یافته است، اما چگونگی تصویری که رسانه‎ها از مسئلۀ آب برساخته‎اند، نامشخص است. هدف این پژوهش، شناخت بازنمایی مسئلۀ آب ایران در روزنامه‎های سراسری است. برای دستیابی به این اهداف، با به‌کارگیری روش تحلیل ‎محتوای کمی و کیفی، مطالب چهار روزنامۀ سراسری را طی هفت سال (از 1/1/1391 تا 29/12/1397) بررسی کرده‌ایم. براساس نتایج به‌دست‌آمده، عوامل طبیعی، برجسته‎ترین علت مسئلۀ آب قلمداد شده‎اند و دیدگاه مسئولان، بیشتر از دیدگاه مردم برجسته شده است. به‌عبارت روشن‌تر، مطالب منتشرشده با دیدگاه‎های دولتی هماهنگ است. «بحران»، «کم‎آبی»، و «خشکسالی» برجسته‎ترین واژگان عنوان‌های روزنامه‎های موردبررسی بوده‌اند. این واژه‎ها، مسئولیت را از دوش مردم و مسئولانی که خواه‌ناخواه، وضع فعلی را ایجاد کرده‎اند، برمی‎دارد و آن را به طبیعت ارجاع می‎دهد. در مطالب این روزنامه‎ها، آب، به‌عنوان مسئله‎ای برجسته شده است که در درجۀ نخست، دولت باید آن را حل کند و نقش مردم به صرفه‎جویی محدود شده است؛ درحالی‌که حکمرانی خوب، نیازمند مشارکت بیشتر جامعۀ مدنی در تصمیم‎گیری‎ها است. افزون‌براین، روزنامه‎های موردبررسی، آینده‎نگر نیستند و تا حد زیادی از بررسی پیامدهای مسئله چشم پوشیده‎اند.}, keywords_fa = {مسئلۀ آب ایران,بازنمایی,شاخص‎بندی,مدیریت تقاضا}, url = {http://www.isih.ir/article_326.html}, eprint = {http://www.isih.ir/article_326_48bd78cee9f9eee004d6d39c1c708b15.pdf} }
