Almost all aspects of our lives and the world around us have been influenced by demographic changes, which apart from having an effect on social, economic, and environmental sub-systems; have also been a source of significant changes in these domains. In the 20th century, Iran has gone through numerous social transformations, in a way that this century can be called an era of social transformations. Our times at the beginning and the end of the century are much different, and population has been one of the most important components of this difference. The future, too, will certainly be different, partly due to ongoing demographic changes. In fact, demographic changes and everything related to them have all created the present that seems alien compared to the past, and they are creating a future that will be strange today. Over the past half a century, the majority of population was concentrated in rural areas but today they mostly live in urban centers; most of the population in the past was illiterate but now they are mostly literate; people lived in large families but now they have smaller households, also over the past few decades there were talks about the population explosion, especially those of youth, but today, the declining and aging population are the issues of discussions.Therefore, the only fixed point about human populations is that they are never static but are always dynamic and changing. As such, one should have a vibrant view on the population and adopt favorable and dynamic policies and programs in accordance with demographic changes and foresight in order to take advantage of opportunities and deal with challenges. Nevertheless, population opportunities and challenges are always evolving and becoming permanent. In other words, the nature and type of demographic opportunities and challenges are different over time. Hence, the formulation of population policies and programs in any era requires determining harmful and problem-creating aspects of demographic trends on the one hand, and the opportunities arising from them on the other. Although all periods and stages of the population transition necessitate policy-making but those policies probably may not be as sensitive, necessary and effective as in recent years. In this regard, taking into account the emerging demographic issues as well as their recent and future trends, the Islamic Republic of Iran revised its population policies, which were finally announced by the leader of the Islamic Revolution on May 30, 2013. These policies, compiled in 14 paragraphs, are related to pivotal issues such as: Increasing fertility above the succession level; facilitating marriage and family formation; empowering working-age population; managing migration and domestic and international movements; aging population and using the capacity and capabilities of the elderly; improving social health and quality of life, etc. As such, general population policies are one of the most comprehensive existing policy documents with a dynamic and systemic approach to current and future challenges and opportunities and that have been compiled taken into account the country’s various economic, socio-cultural, health and environmental dimensions. However, the success of policies and programs depends on various factors such as, coherent and sustainable budget and programs; stable and coherent policy, improvement in socio-economic situation, social acceptance, and the support for population studies and researches.In this special quarterly, population dimensions and issues in Iran in three areas of marriage, fertility and immigration have been investigated and researched upon using an interdisciplinary approach in the form of six scientific articles: ‘Spouse-choosing styles of young people in the context of developmental idealism’; ‘Generational and seasonal changes in marriage’; ‘Fertility tendencies and their determinants’; ‘The sense of security and childbearing intention’; ‘Mothers and the upbringing of the generation with emphasis on social concerns of mothers in relation to parenting’; and, ‘The inclination to emigrate from Iran’. In the end, I hope that this special issue with the efforts of some faculty members, demographic researchers and reviewers of the articles as well as with the support of the respected editor and members of the editorial board, apart from industrious efforts and follow-up by Ms. Mahnaz Shah-Alizadeh, the executive director of the quarterly, would be fruitful for researchers and policy-makers. }, keywords = {}, title_fa = {جمعیت، توسعه و تغییرات اجتماعی}, abstract_fa = {جمعیت، محور و مرکز توسعه و تغییرات اجتماعی در جهان معاصر بوده است. تغییرات جمعیتی، تقریباً هر جنبه‏ای از زندگی ما و جهان پیرامون ما را تحت‏تأثیر قرار داده و اثرات متعددی بر خرده نظام‏های اجتماعی، اقتصادی، و محیطی وارد ساخته و منشأ تحولات چشمگیری در این حوزه‏ها گردیده است. ایران در قرن چهاردهم هجری شمسی با دگرگونی‌های اجتماعی متعددی همراه بوده است؛ به‌طوری‌که می‌توان این قرن را عصر دگرگونی‌های اجتماعی قلمداد کرد. روزگار ما در ابتدای قرن با انتهای آن بسیار متفاوت است، و جمعیت یکی از مهمترین اجزای این تفاوت بوده است. آینده نیز قطعاً متفاوت خواهد بود، تاحدی به‌دلیل تغییرات جمعیتی که اکنون صورت می‌گیرد. در واقع، تغییرات جمعیتی و هر آنچه با آن مرتبط است، همگی امروزی را ساخته‌اند که در مقایسه با گذشته به‌نظر بیگانه می‌آید و آینده‌ای را می‌سازند که با امروز غریبه خواهد بود. در نیم قرن گذشته اکثر جمعیت در مناطق روستایی، و امروزه اغلب در مناطق شهری ساکن هستند، در گذشته اغلب جمعیت بی‌سواد، و حال اغلب باسواد هستند، در گذشته مردم در خانوارهای پرجمعیت زندگی می‌کردند و امروزه در خانوارهای کم‌جمعیت؛ در چند دهه گذشته از انفجار جمعیت و جوانی جمعیت صحبت می‌شد و حال آن‌که امروزه از کاهش جمعیت و سالمندی جمعیت صحبت می‌شود. تنها نکته ثابت در مورد جمعیت‌های انسانی این است که هیچ‌گاه ثابت نبوده و همواره پویا و در حال تغییر و تحول می‌باشند. بنابراین، به جمعیت بایستی نگاهی پویا داشت و متناسب با تغییرات و آینده‌‮نگری آن به اتخاذ سیاست‌‮ها و برنامه‌های مطلوب و پویا در راستای بهره‌‌برداری از فرصت‌‌ها و مقابله با چالش‌ها پرداخت.‬‬ فرصت‌‌ها و چالش‌های جمعیتی همواره در حال تحول و شدن دائمی هستند. به بیان دیگر، ماهیت و نوع فرصت‌ها و چالش‌های جمعیتی در طول زمان متفاوت است. از این‌رو، تدوین سیاست‏ها و برنامه‌‏های جمعیتی در هر دوره‌‏ای مستلزم معین ساختن جهات آسیب‌‏زا و مسئله‌‏آفرین روندهای جمعیتی از یک‌سو، و فرصت‌های برآمده از تحولات جمعیتی، از سوی دیگر است. هرچند همه‌ دوره‌‌ها و مراحل گذار جمعیتی مستلزم سیاست‌گذاری است، ولی شاید سیاست‌گذاری در هیچ دوره‌‌ای به اندازه‌ سال‌های اخیر، حساس، لازم و در صورت موفقیت، مؤثر نباشد. ‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬در این راستا، باتوجه به مسائل نوظهور جمعیتی، روندهای اخیر و آینده جمعیت کشور، جمهوری اسلامی ایران اقدام به بازنگری سیاست‌های جمعیتی کرد و در 30 اردیبهشت 1393 سیاست‌های کلی جمعیت توسط مقام معظم رهبری ابلاغ شد. این سیاست‌ها که در 14 بند تدوین شده است به موضوعات و محورهایی نظیر افزایش باروری به بالاتر از سطح جانشینی، تسهیل ازدواج و تشکیل خانواده، توانمندی جمعیت در سنین فعالیت، مدیریت مهاجرت و جابجایی‌های داخلی و بین‌المللی، سالمندی جمعیت و استفاده از ظرفیت و توانمندی سالمندان، ارتقاء سلامت جمعیت و کیفیت زندگی و غیره پرداخته است. از این‌رو، سیاست‌های کلی جمعیت، یکی از جامع‌ترین سندهای سیاستی موجود در حوزه جمعیت است که رویکردی پویا و سیستمی به مسائل و فرصت‌های جمعیتی حال حاضر و آینده کشور دارد و ابعاد مختلف اقتصادی، اجتماعی ـ فرهنگی، بهداشتی و محیط زیستی مرتبط با جمعیت را مدنظر داشته است. با این‌حال، موفقیت سیاست‌ها و برنامه‌ها بستگی به عوامل مختلفی نظیر بودجه و برنامه‌های اجرایی منسجم و پایدار، ثبات و انسجام سیاستی، بهبود وضعیت اقتصادی جامعه، پذیرش اجتماعی، و حمایت از مطالعات و پژوهش‌های جمعیتی دارد. ‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬در این ویژه‌نامه ابعاد و مسائل جمعیتی در ایران در سه حوزه ازدواج، باروری و مهاجرت در قالب شش مقاله علمی شامل «سبک‌های همسرگزینی جوانان در بستر آرمان‌گرایی توسعه‌ای»، «تغییرات نسلی و دوره‌ای ازدواج»، «تمایلات باروری و تعیین‌کننده‌های آن»، «احساس امنیت و قصد فرزندآوری»، «مادران و تربیت نسل با تأکید بردغدغه‌های اجتماعی مادران در رابطه با فرزندپروری»، و «تمایل به مهاجرت از ایران»، با استفاده از رویکرد میان‌رشته‌ای مورد کندوکاو و بررسی قرار گرفته است. در پایان، امید است این ویژه‌نامه که به کوشش علمی برخی از اعضای هیئت علمی و پژوهشگران جمعیت‌شناسی، ارزیابی دقیق داوران محترم مقالات، و حمایت مدیر مسئول و سردبیرمحترم و اعضای هیئت تحریریه فصلنامه و به علاوه تلاش و پیگیری مجدانه سرکار خانم مهناز شاه‌علی‌زاده، مدیر اجرایی فصلنامه، فراهم آمده است، برای محققان و سیاست‌گذاران مفید واقع شود.}, keywords_fa = {}, url = {http://www.isih.ir/article_410.html}, eprint = {http://www.isih.ir/article_410_35b81f7a2642518202858df4730b3891.pdf} }
