By passing the instruction period and increase of graduate students and also research budget, knowledge of accounting in Iran entered to the field of research in a way that number of accounting projects has been implemented in the real world. Because of that different experience in implementing the accounting standards were achieved. So, it was expected the mentioned experiences help to solve the financial problems in country, in spite of lots of efforts which were done for researching; we still have many financial and accounting problems in our country. PHD projects could be considered as one of the important solutions to improve the University subjects including accounting. PHD projects are considered as team work job and it will be legitimate by supervisor teams in universities. It is obvious that applied projects should solve part of the problems in accounting field but unfortunately it is not working in the real world. The question which came in to our mind is how come that the out put of the applied and knowledge base projects could not make the darkness of the mentioned problems clear and also why politicians in difficult situations prefer to use their own previous experiences in important decision makings instead of using the consultant’s knowledge base suggestions. In this research I’m going to study, the reasons behind that prevent the applied PHD projects from success in real world which relates to the point of view that consider the political suggestions which are out put of knowledge base projects are not qualified enough for implementation. For this purpose, the indicators of an applied PHD project were considered and 110 vise people were categorized the mentioned indicators and then in a comprehensive study other applied PHD accounting projects were compared to each other. As result, in this study problems of the studied researches were identified and a proper and applied model for creating applied research was developed.

Lifestyle is a phenomenon which provides beliefs, values, knowledge and interpersonal competencies in social-personal situations. Lifestyle makes the real part of human civilization; however it does not occur as a simple and linear. Crystallization of the inner human, means lifestyle, is seriously affected by the action’s position; time and location based on personal perception, which together form the context of the action. While religion makes the main basis of a religious person’s lifestyle, but the institutional actor is affected by the current realities of organization’s life and acts in terms of laws and requirements which resulted in different lifestyles. In confrontation between religious beliefs and institutional realities, three situations may consider including full conformity, partial conformity and non-conformity. In each of these forms a particular lifestyle based on the university condition may emerge, which is known as academic educators’ lifestyle. The importance of these forms is due to the effect of them on educational effectiveness of academic activities. The educator is not only a person with a personal lifestyle, but also is a “lifestyle learner” which it acts with a latent and indirect manner. If the implementation of “Modern Islamic Civilization” is important, and the “real part” of it, is made by people’s life context and visibly and invisibly is affected by educators’ manners in each society, therefore the explanation of academic educators’ practice is important since they are the main reference of lifestyle model for young.

The aim of this study is the introduction of a kind of integrative and interdisciplinary knowledge for university teaching. This kind of knowledge is a special integration of pedagogical knowledge and specific content knowledge which university teacher supposed to teach that and it is called pedagogical content knowledge(PCK). Although this knowledge is known as the most influential kind of teaching knowledge which could make the university teaching discourse more specific, the nature of that is vague in higher education curriculum. The reason of being vague is related to the interdisciplinarity nature of this kind of knowledge. This paper would anatomy this kind of knowledge which has an integrative nature. To this aim, the subject of mathematics has been selected as a case study. Data of this study have been collected through semi-structured interviews and observations from 27 of university mathematics teachers who were in a spectrum from beginner to the teachers with more than 30 years of experience. Data were analyzed through coding and making themes and resulted in a model with 4 main themes. This model makes a more discussable about this kind of knowledge an university teaching. Furthermore, it could make an appropriate framework for designing interdisciplinary fields of study which are the result of integration of two kinds of knowledge of pedagogy and specific field like mathematics and science.

Different developments in recent years have provided protection for participative and interdisciplinary research from research and educational institutes and other organizations which invest in research. Because of the need for having a comprehensive look in solving problems and understanding complexities and also multidimensionality of problems which societies encounter some special ideas have evolved. Based on these ideas if researchers who are involved in one discipline, without being helped from experts of other disciplines, may come to ineffective solutions without sufficient consideration in all aspects of the problems. So research policy makers have come to these conclusions that: first, researches relating to social problems should be conducted with helps of researchers from other scientific fields. Second, researchers should work cooperatively and having interaction with each other. Third, their research finding should be so integrated that as much as possible a comprehensive and agreeable solution could be advanced. And finally, all above said will be achieved through interdisciplinary research. In this paper, based on validated scientific texts, authors have tried to provide a comprehensive look at the nature of interdisciplinary research in higher education. The basic subjects offered are: development of the ways of conducting academic research, moving of academic research to interdisciplinarity, consideration of academic disciplines for understanding interdisciplinary research, considering the nature of interdisciplinary research, early and late interdisciplinarity, and the motives of reflection of interdisciplinarity in policy making.

During recent years, policy-makers of higher education in Iran have paid special attention to interdisciplinarity and as a result, many different interdisciplinary programs have been established. Assessing these programs could guide one to understand the challenges, preventives, and the points of strength and weakness which might help to make improvements in future programming. M.A. program in Mathematics Education is one of the cited programs which is the result of combining Natural Sciences with Education. The present study is focused on this program and attempts to qualify it through observing different graduated people in the field from universities of Beheshti, Bahonar (Kerman), Radjai, Islamic Azad University (Science and Research Branch, and the Kerman Branch) who had graduated before oct. 2008. The research has been conducted through questionnaire, observation, making notes, and interview which have been analyzed by data coding and classification. Results clear the challenges M.A. program in Mathematics Education encounters which could help policy-makers to improve interdisciplines, especially ones which are the result of combining Basic Sciences with Education
