Abstract Understanding social behaviors enables to understand and facilitates mutual interaction; yet sometimes deceptive tactics by the counterpart alter this understanding. Analyzing the phenomenon of deception from an interdisciplinary perspective provides better comprehension and the ability to scrutinize it. This study investigates the hidden layers of text in a social context at two girls' high schools in Tehran, examining the role of deceptive ideology in normalizing the discourse. The research is organized around two main objectives: 1. Analyzing the discursive diversity formed in the deception discourse within Michel Foucault's critical discourse framework. 2. Examining the impact of ideological and power elements in shaping the deception discourse. Using an applied approach, comments from 233 high school students aged 15 to 17 about virtual cheating in exams, assignments, and educational activities in virtual education networks were collected and analyzed regarding the role and impact of ideological and power elements within Michel Foucault's theoretical framework. Findings indicate that deception discourse, supported by power in the virtual space, acts as an ideological institution, convincing students to collaborate in achieving false academic success. This process turns the discourse into a tool for deceivers, undermining academic integrity and promoting cheating. Interventions and educational efforts to increase ethical commitment among learners appear effective in reducing deceptive behaviors. These findings provide valuable insights for educational stakeholders aiming to reduce cheating in academic environments and have significant implications for ethical education.

Abstract The interaction between law and ideology is both complex and contentious. This stems from differences in opinions on the definitions of the two concepts and the various ways in which ideology and law might be related to one another. Moreover, the existing diversity in the literature concerning ideology takes the biggest share of the blame. Hence, to clarify the relationship between ideology and law, one must first do an interdisciplinary study of the existing approaches towards the concept of ideology, as well as its general and specific definitions, and ultimately, the selected definition of ideology must be presented. The theories regarding the relationship between ideology and law may be divided into three categories, namely, autonomy of law, subordination of law to the ideology, and the influence of ideology. Interdisciplinary studies show that the first theory has not been successful in proving the autonomy of law. Likewise, the second theory has failed to address and respond to substantial issues as to its claims. Lastly, the influence of ideology theory has failed to deal with how ideology has been reciprocally affected by law. Nevertheless, the idea advocating the reciprocal relationship between law and ideology, while assuming a particular meaning of ideology, has drawn our attention to the importance of political and sociological factors in understanding law, highlighting the role of law in changes in the prevailing political culture and the dominant ideology in the society.

Abstract Today, identity politics is one of the most important analytic tools of social scientists. With this approach, they focus on political attitudes and interests of social groups who are mainly concerned with gender, race, ethnicity or religion. Attitude towards the female sexuality is one of the most important spectrums in their study. The epistemological development is rooted in the fundamental social changes and its understanding requires a careful study of some aspects in contemporary political literature of Iran. The main question of this study is the focus on gender in the contemporary political literature that may lead to the realm of identity politics in Iran. Any focus on identity and gender discourses will involve a critical analysis and application of the Fairclough’s model on Shamlou’s poems. Thus, a social scientist may tend to answer the questions of identity politics and gender issues. Our hypothesis is that Iranian society has gradually moved towards a new understanding of the concept of gender since the Constitutional Movement and it has helped the articulation of identity politics in Iran. The main manifestation of this politics should be sought in political literature which has always been an area for thinking due to the lack of civil society in the body polity of Iran.
