During the past 40 years, such courses have been very useful for human societies and researchers have come up with new methods to combine scientific interest with large-scale skills. Therefore, faculty members and students have been attracted to such courses. This paper will study conceptual nature of interdisciplinary courses and explains some relevant experiences as well as their fortes and weaknesses. In conclusion, proposals will be offered for launching interdisciplinary course. <br />  مسائل و مشکلات اجتماعی، گسترش دانش‌ها و پیشرفت فناوری‌‌های جدید نیاز برای راه‌اندازی رشته‌‌های میان‌رشته‌ای را مضاعف کرده است. در چهل سال گذشته، این گونه رشته‌‌ها دستاوردهای چشمگیری را برای جوامع به ارمغان آورده‌ است و پژوهشگران نیز روش‌‌هایی را برای ترکیب علاقه‌مندی‌‌های علمی، بینش‌‌ها، و مهارت‌‌های گسترده طراحی کرده‌اند. چنین بوده است که اعضای هیئت علمی و دانشجویان به طور افزایشی، به سوی این گونه رشته‌‌ها جذب شده‌اند. این مقاله ضمن بررسی ماهیت مفهومی و بیان برخی تجربیات، به نقاط قوت و ضعف این گونه رشته‌‌ها می‌پردازد. در پایان، پیشنهادهایی برای راه‌اندازی رشته‌‌های میان‌رشته‌ای می‌شود. https://www.isih.ir/article_2_c81e728d9d4c2f636f067f89cc14862c.pdf
