Journal of Interdisciplinary Studies in the Humanities published by the Iranian Institute for Social and Cultural Studies has become a member of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) in December 29, 2016.

COPE provides advice to editors and publishers on all aspects of publication ethics and, in particular, on how to handle cases of research and publication misconduct. It also provides a forum for its members to discuss individual cases. COPE does not investigate individual cases but encourages editors to ensure that cases are investigated by the appropriate authorities (usually a research institution or employer). The resources and cases areas are open to everybody.

In the Journal office, we follow the Code of Conduct for Journal Publishers of COPE's principles of transparency and best practices in scholarly publishing.
